"Kids now are too casual." A.R.O., Bristol
"Our dress code is somewhat dressy. Monday-Thursday we need to wear dress-business like pants and any shirts w/out print. On Friday where allowed to wear jeans and any shirts with print as long as they are rated for everyone. On the Weekends us males are allowed to wear shorts, but what really ticks me off is that females are allowed to wear Skorts and Skirts any day of the week but us males can't not even wear Khaki shorts during the week. I think thats Discrimination!" M.S.G., Lisbon
"We can pretty much wear what ever we want but nothing that shows too much like halter tops or short skirts." S.M., Chaplin
"I work in a clothing store where almost all of the summer merchandise consists of tank tops with thin straps and short shorts. We are instructed to wear clothing that is currently being sold in the store to work, yet are not allowed to wear tank tops with thin straps, or short shorts. Most of the staff turn to jeans and t-shirts because of the ridiculous policy." A.I., North Haven
"The dress code at my work sucks. I think we should be able to wear what ever we want. I talk to people over the phone so why should it matter what I wear? The customer can't even see me. so I think its just plain stupid that we have to dress up and be uncomfortible for people that can't even see us." Kieth, Lisbon
"Why don't you ask people what they think about the much touted 'tax cut', now that they are seeing their 2-3 dollar increase in take-home pay? My lousy tax cut won't even buy a gallon of milk!" Bubba, Forestville
"What happened to Business Casual?" N.M., Vernon
"It's women that set the dress code for each other. Women primarily dress for other women. Whenever have you heard a male coworker or supervisors say 'Oh - I just love that jacket. The pin sets it off perfectly', or 'that's a great color nail polish. I love it'. So believe on, regarding management setting the standard - its purely for other women that we dress and impress. When will you ever learn?" M.V., Hamden
